OUR STORY: THE HEART BEHIND BEAR HUG YOGA.

Bear Hug Yoga was born from a deep connection to family and the warmth of unconditional love. The inspiration? My son, lovingly nicknamed Bear. From the moment he arrived, he brought a sense of calm, comfort, and pure joy—much like the feeling of a warm, welcoming hug.

As I continued my own yoga journey, I realized that the peace and grounding I found on the mat felt a lot like those moments with Bear. Yoga, just like a bear hug, has the power to offer comfort, safety, and a sense of belonging. That’s when the idea for Bear Hug Yoga took root: I wanted to create a space where kids could feel that same sense of security and joy, wrapped in love and care.

Bear Hug Yoga is more than just a name—it’s a reflection of the love I share with my son and my desire to extend that feeling to others. Here, we focus on mindfulness, balance, and inner strength, all within a playful, nurturing environment. Our goal is simple: to help every child feel supported, relaxed, and embraced—just like a big bear hug.
